Re: Soul Spy?

I am certainly not a programmer, but is there any chance we'll see future upgrades that would include things like a diagnostic screen where we could see fault codes, or turn the warning chimes off and on, like the Leaf Spy app? If this will work with the new Kia and Hyundai EV's coming out, I'm sure...

Kudo's for the excellent write up with pictures! Not sure it's something I would care to try, but well done.

Re: Soul Spy?

I just installed the latest version. Nice work, and thank you! The interface is getting better each time. I've only had my car for a couple weeks, so I'm still getting used to things here. When I got it, it showed 104.5% SOH, but now it shows 106.6% SOH. I'm assuming it's just a typical variance lik...

Re: New software update installation (video)

When I got my car last week, I tried to find the same thing. The dealer sent me to the map update site where I saw the $145 price, so I called Kia. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a new customer or my Soul has such low mileage, but the representative sent me a new SD card with the updates as a good...

Re: Considering turning over an old Leaf and gaining some Soul

Thanks for the reply. The Panalong OBDII worked fine and I tested out a couple cars last weekend. I'm picking up the one with the best battery report today in fact. It is a 2016 base model that did come from California, but has only 8600 miles on it and showed 100% SOH when the dealership did a test...

Re: Soul Spy?

Just so I'm clear on this, I should remove the current version before I download the latest version, correct? I am purchasing a low mileage 2016 this Saturday.

Re: Soul Spy?

Which device and Android version are you using?
On every device I have tested this, the dialogue displays like this:

I did not have that problem on my Moto G5, and I'm using a different dongle (Panalong). I thank you for your work!

Re: Soul Spy?

Thanks for the reply! I downloaded version 0.1.2-2598 The first car with 20K miles just came in and had not been in the shop yet. The second car with 8600 miles and 113% SOH has been through the shop and is sitting on the lot. This is at a Kia dealership and both cars are CPO. I really like the firs...

Re: Soul Spy?

I was out car shopping today and successfully used a Panalong OBDII dongle with this software. Took me a bit to figure out the menu, but finally got the SOH from two Soul EV's, both 2016 models. One with 20K miles showed 94.9% but the range seemed really low. Another one from Southern California sho...
