Re: Using "trickle" charger on a NEMA 6-50 plug

OP, If your EVSE only has a plug for 120V, it's probably a safe bet that it's limited to that and I would not recommend finding out via trial & error... The EVSE that I currently use is a Duosida EVSE which allows me to charge at either 120V (with a cable adapter) or 240V (NEMA 6-20 @16amps). On...

Re: 2016 Soul EV+ Battery Replacement - Remanufactured?

I finally got my battery replaced by Kia, they told me there is a facility in Texas where they reassemble batteries. My SOH is 110%, 123 miles range. I'm not sure what battery they put but based on SoulSpy same number of cells. ... It does seem cars in the US are getting re-manufactured 27kWk packs...

Re: Soul Spy?

Is it worth it? 1. To me? Sure. 2. To me to suggest to someone else? Depends. Why or why not? 1. I just want to know the battery capacity % for warranty purposes, and this app is the only one that will give me that info. 2. Unless they were techy like myself, I don't think the interface is all that...

Re: Thinking of getting a higher mileage 2016

JejuSoul - Yeah, so my job involves a lot of driving, but also has a company vehicle to use. If I was able to use my own I'd make more money, but it just didn't seem worth the hassle. So this is strictly for my personal use, which is well within the range of the vehicle.

Re: Thinking of getting a higher mileage 2016

So I finally got mine on the weekend. Quite a story to tell, but for now I'll spare everyone the long read and give you the TLDR: - I waited 2 weeks for my car to arrive. Lots of delays, but ironically it arrived sooner than the last delayed ETA - Yay! Right? - Insurance company wasn't open until Mo...

Re: Just picked up Soul EV 2020 Limited in Vancouver

Hey - so I'm new to the Soul train and was hoping some current owners could help me out with some unknowns with this car. I drive, A lot . From Monday to Friday I travel ~300km per day at a speed of ~95-100km/hr on the highway, which most of it is. I'm curious if it's possible to ditch my gas burner...

Re: Thinking of getting a higher mileage 2016

So I'm another new member whose also noticed these for sale online and signed up so I could jump in here. I'm hoping other buyers would be willing to share privately what they paid so I can get an idea if it's possible for me to budget this purchase earlier than I had planned. I completely understan...
