Current Navi App and Map

I have a 2015 Soul-EV with the following Navi/Map Versions.

Navi App Ver. : ST4.NAM.KMC.160617.93676

Map Ver. : NAM.08.47.44.552.004.1

I can't seem to find current version numbers.

I would to see the available versions posted in the thread.

Thx,
Ed

Re: Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) firmware : (July 2020 - now a recall)

I did get a Recall (NHTSA Recall no. 20V389) for 2015-16 Soul EVs; from KIA-America, dated 7 Aug 2020. "KIA will update the ECU software for the EPB Logic". "This then will automatically activate the EPB when the Power button is turned off AND the shift lever is in the P position"...

Re: Kia Access app and UVO Link

I too am disappointed that the Access App with UVO link has disappeared for my '15 EV. The KIA rep tells me that there is no way I can have the UVO link back because the software has been updated, and now the old car is incompatible; sucks.

Re: Kia Access app and UVO Link

Ah, thanks to you all, I figured out that my KIA Access App services has just expired. Nothing on the App says that; it just doesn't connect to the vehicle. But when I went to the KIA website and bungled around, I came up with this, for my 2015 Soul EV (purchase Feb '15): "Purchase/lease of a n...

Re: Kia Access app and UVO Link

Current on my using the KIA Access App (Android ; App. ver. 3.7.0.).
The KIA app does update my '15 EV info within maybe 30 sec.
Sometimes it shows "Updated: now", and sometimes shows "Updated: date and time".
Seems to always show the car location.
So, for now, it's useful.

Re: Kia Access app and UVO Link

This doesn't address your problem but here's my story. I too have been using UVO, then Kia Access (Android) for info about my '15 Soul-EV for years. Now, KIA Access, v. 3.6.0 is not updating vehicle information quickly, or sometimes, not at all. I did get a update on 12/25/2019, but not now. However...

Re: Soul EV Spy Questions and Answers

Reporting a positive result of using this Soul EV Spy-Lite App with my 2015 Soul EV. I have a Konnwei KW902 (from Amazon). I followed the simple instructions, and with my Android tablet, was able to get many (9) screens of data, which are posted: https://tinyurl.com/wh8ctrp I'm happy with a Batt. SO...

Re: Pedestrian Warning System

Re: The advertised "Safety" Systems, I was referring to is the list on the placard pasted on the window; there when I bought the car. The list had 9 lines with items like airbags and tire pressure monitoring. Certainly not a complete list, and can be arbitrary . So I took my car back to th...

Re: Pedestrian Warning System

There is a new story out on the subject in the NY Times: " Why Quiet Cars Are Getting Louder", https://nyti.ms/2qGvXoa So it will be required in the U.S. for all EVs, as of Sep '20. I will be asking my local KIA service to fix it for me. I have the loud beeping when selecting Reverse gear....
