Re: Témoin entretien

Yes, you can set how often you get the maintenance reminder in one of the setup menus with the steering wheel buttons.
I've turned mine off and just go to the dealer once a year for them to check it over. I rotate the tyres myself when changing between summer and winter tyres.

Re: Thinking of getting a higher mileage 2016

It was discussed in a couple of threads, I can only find one right now: http://www.mykiasoulev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=79&p=249&hilit=flickering#p249 I know someone posted a video of it a couple of years ago, but I can't find that now. Some people have had their instrument cluster ...

That's not limiting!
The Soul is a big square box, not very aerodynamic at all. Put the cruise on at 105km/h on the highway and you will do far better on the range.

Yes, you need to charge from under 20% to 100% in one go for calibration.

Re: Headlights won't come on, everything else works.

Yes, but there are no headlight fuses or relays, not in the manual and not listed in the fuse boxes on the car. I suspect that is from a different version of the car which wasn't so full of CAN buses.

Re: Where to get all season Floor Mats?

We had a similar problem when the first gen came out. Lloyds Mats were about the first as they just cut the rubber out of large sheets so they just need to work out the pattern. I just checked but even though they list the Soul it says "No EV" against it so you may just have to wait a litt...

Re: Battery Ageing Model

The trip computer includes a number (I forget exactly how many, I think it is in the manual) of previous trips. The BMS numbers are the more accurate ones.

Re: Thinking of getting a higher mileage 2016

While it is possible it got a new battery, I suspect it just had the BMS update done on it. The only way to know would be to take the VIN and give Kia a call and see what its history is. Rather than looking at the remaining range, I would look at it as you used 60.5% of the battery charge to get 94k...

Re: Charging Fault error.

Agreed that Rxxx should be a resistor. Normally I'd expect surface mount resistors to look like the smaller components above R478 - R481 but these might be high power versions, google "Panasonic ERJ" to see some examples. My concern is that resistors don't usually burn up. I wonder if some...
