Re: Soul Spy?

My Downloads directory is actually under "Internal storage" rather than "SD card". I only see log files and CSV data there from when I ran the old version in 2018, nothing 2019 from the new version.

Re: Soul Spy?

I tried the new version but it stops shortly after the Bluetooth connection is made, maybe 1-2 seconds. I do see the lights flash a lot on the OBD2 adaptor before it stops. I don't have a KW-902, I have a different ELM327 Chinese clone. It did work with the older version b1668 so I was hoping it wou...

Re: Battery Ageing Model

It has had a BMS reset, the CCC and CDC have dropped between the first and second samples. This was probably the dealer doing the updates for the firmware. You may find that the SOH drops back to what it was before. I think you are overly cautious only charging at 6A, especially if you fast charge i...

Re: New Owner, 2016 Soul EV

I disagree on the Android Auto - having it on the car headunit is a lot better: 1) Bigger screen - easier to see, and easier to enter destinations. 2) Able to trigger voice commands by pressing the microphone button on the steering wheel without needing it to recognise "Ok Google". 3) Navi...

Re: GuesseOMeter is WrongOMeter

You can call up battery percentage on the EV screen of the head unit. The ticks are not even, the top one is a lot more than the rest. I don't remember exactly but I think it is maybe 15% and then the rest are 5%?

Re: Wet Brakes "lock up" when parked

It's fine, happens on a lot of cars. It's just a little bit of surface rust forming on the brake rotors that causes the pads to stick. It will clean off as you drive and apply the brakes a couple of times.

Re: Car won't start

Well it was my turn today. Car worked fine last night, charged over night and unlocked when my wife went to use it this afternoon but that was it. Battery was down to 9V so I just went and replaced it. With it only needing to connect the main relay before it runs the DC/DC converter to power everyth...

Re: How to find out which battery?

I have a 2016 model year that I bought in September 2015, vehicle model years are not actual years. You can decode the VIN at https://www.faxvin.com/vin-decoder The real way to tell is by the number of cells in the battery, see https://www.mykiasoulev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=938 so do you have 96 ...

Re: How to find out which battery?

The VIN contains the model year and the 2018 model year was when the battery increased from 27kWh to 30kWh.
