Re: Stuck Charging Plug

So it turned out that there was nothing wrong with the car. Everything was locking and un-locking like it should. The thumb button on the handle of the charger was getting stuck. I was able to use a clamp and press firmly until it released. I'm not going to use the charger again until they send me a...

Re: January Software Update a Good Thing?

So far I haven't updated the software. Did I read that one of the updates deletes the speed limits on the map? That would suck because I live in a slightly rural area and often I don't see a sign for a while but the speed limits show on the map. I would hate to see that go away. I never understood w...

Re: Buyers Remorse

I think if KIA was really worried about customer satisfaction they would have just swapped your car for a similar one. I don't think the cost would be significant to them. Obviously this is a rare case but that makes it even a better case for a more drastic correction. Now what happened to you will ...

Re: Brakes seized on new Soul EV after 10 months

I'd be interested in knowing why KIA wouldn't cover it. I know that things like brake PADS and tires and other things that normally aren't covered because they're designed to wear out. I wouldn't think that even if your pads had worn out that that would be the reason the brakes seized. The squeak wh...

Re: Stuck Charging Plug

I'll have to get my face a little closer with a good light and see. How do you do a manual release if I need to? I can check the manual but it's in the car that's still covered in snow. Thanks for the information.

Stuck Charging Plug

Has anyone had the plug from their charger get stuck in the charging port? Mine is and I can't seem to be able to convince it to come out no matter how hard I try. The plug is on my GE Wattstation and had been working fine. It slightly hung up once but since I thought I'd locked the doors after plug...

Re: Charging Fault error.

So I'm now running on replacement on-board charger 2!! Hope this is the last one. KIA did get the part to the dealer before the end of the month, which was nice.

Charge Time With Level 1 Charger

Please excuse me if this question has been previously answered but I need to know something quickly so I can address an issue if it exists. I just had the on board charger replaced, for the second time. I did not have access to my normal Level 2 charger so for the first time I used the Level 1 that ...
