Re: Kia Soul EV dashboard: ECO electric and SOUL logo, white or green?

Always nice that sometimes you are puzzled and someone else knows the answer. Indeed driving in B-mode makes the backlight green for the "ECO electric" and "SOUL" logo.

I checked the manual, but this behavior is not described, at least I could not find it

Kia Soul EV dashboard: ECO electric and SOUL logo, white or green?

Hi, I noticed this weekend that the "ECO electric" and "SOUL" logo in the dashboard was green. But yesterday it was was white again. Apparently I am not the only one, because I found these photo's on the internet. https://cleantechnica.com/files/2015/12/KiaSoulEVDashboard.jpg htt...

Re: 2015 EV+ Android Auto Update

I did get "Android Auto" this week in the Netherlands when my Maps and Software was updated on my Kia Soul EV from September 2014. Note that we do not have UVO in the Netherlands. My software version is: ST.PSEV.EUR.E531. 190321 My maps version is: EUR.11.41.46.553.001. I expect newer maps...

Re: Any way to find out SOC without going to dealer?

I think you mean SOH (State of Health) and not SOC (State of Charge). The latter you can see on the dashboard. See here for Torque Pro: http://www.mykiasoulev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=471 See here for Soul Spy: http://www.mykiasoulev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=471 Both need Android a...

Re: Soul Spy?

The range as it is now is OK for me, it's only that the displayed estimate is wrong. If it looks like it will take a few weeks of driving to get it the "right" level I'd rather do that than drive around in a loaner petrol car. This is the estimated range with the average driving consumpti...

Re: Soul Spy?

Yesterday I drove some extra km to get the car at 17%. Unfortunately after a night of charging the car still thinks it can only drive 70 km Probably you need to do this at least another time like this. Or there is something else wrong. Strange that they did not reset the BMS as part of the replacem...

Re: Soul Spy?

If you share the last Max det and min det from before the battery replacement, and the first Max det and min det after, those could be useful along with the official SOH of the replaced battery. The max deterioration was 59.2 in cell 83. Soul Spy said SOH was 46.1. According to the dealer I got a n...

Re: Battery Ageing Model

I don't know why that battery check wasn't done sooner. Apparently a battery check can't be logged in their system and they can only make a hardcopy. They said I should have these from earlier but I don't. I never saw one from my car. I'm sure I would have remembered if I did. I have to ask explici...

Re: Battery Ageing Model

- Thanks ZuinigeRijder. That's great data. Your car is doing really well. You have the best battery efficiency figures for any car in this thread - 17.7 kWh/100km. I am assuming that is because you drive on flat terrain - no hills in NL - , and your commute has few traffic lights / speed cameras. T...

Re: Battery Ageing Model

My Kia Soul EV from September 2014 has now driven 108251km and the SOH is now 93.55%. Note that the previous owner already got a SOH of approx. 102% after the first year. Seems that it pays off to mainly charge till 80% SOC (yes, my model has still the option to charge till 80%) and try to keep it a...
