Re: Battery Ageing Model

Got it brand new in Hawaii. I do have a few miles of hills everyday, usually climbing them under 60 mph though. I noticed my capacity seemed to drastically tank a few months ago.

Re: Battery Ageing Model

Just took in my 2016 with 40k miles. Had the vehicle for 2.5 yrs. I'm in Hawaii with daily temps in the 70s-80s. SOH at Kia was 68.5. The service reps gave me the following screen shots and said the Kia tech line was still walking the service department through various resets and re-connections befo...

How do I get a new Battery?

I'm at 40k miles on my 2016 Soul and I've lost 25% - 30% capacity. Took it into Kia last week and they did two SA updates to the Electrical System, assuring me that it would help the problem. Unfortunately the updates made the issue slightly worse. My question is, if I take it back to Kia, what shou...

Re: Android Auto and Apple CarPlay almost here!

I didn't realize Android Auto needed USB connection to work. I have a wireless quick charger that I love too much. Hopefully bluetooth or wifi connectivity will come into play at some point.

Re: Kia EV team?

You might call 800-3334542, option 3,x 45606 , and ask for Ali. I have got good info from him. Talked to him today. Super helpful with a couple concerns I had. Doesn't look like Android Auto will be out any time soon. They aren't sure if they're only going to release it for new model vehicles or not.

Re: Headrest still too far forward

I flipped the headrest around. If know it's not as safe, but it's much more comfortable and my posture is better now.

Re: Headrest still too far forward

Looks like some folks with regular Souls have the same complaint. It stems from newer active Headrests requiring a certain angle to prevent whiplash. Some have gone so far as to reverse their headrest and straighten the two metal bars.
