Re: Soul Spy?

The reading I have recorded which is closest to the time the battery SOH was determined by the dealer is 52.1 (also at cell 83). "The reading" of which value: Max det or SOH? And how close, in time and km? Max det is read from the car, so it is the same value from Torque and Soul EV Spy. ...

Re: Soul Spy?

They did not make a new readout of the battery, but I did get the old one. It says SoH 49,6%. The max deterioration was 59.2 in cell 83. Again, Elmils formula correlates closest to the official SOH! Elmils formula puts the SOH at 48,3%, and given that the readings are taken some time apart, a diffe...

Re: Soul Spy?

I now have a new battery in my car. They did not reset the BMS, so it still shows the old values, even for the min and max deterioration. ... Edit: They did not make a new readout of the battery, but I did get the old one. It says SoH 49,6%. Unfortunately I do not have the min or max deterioration ...

Re: Soul Spy?

I made sure I had the right app and I plugged in OBD2 device - turned it on(it has a button) Then turned car on fully, turned on app and activated BT - it connected and so I checked each screen and very few had anything. So I drove around and checked again. Nothing really showing - ...

Re: Soul Spy?

On my commute home the app didn't freeze nor crash. It got disconnected quite some times though. It looks like a good solution so far. I did notice not all the fields were updated all the time. Particularly the remaining range field. It was stuck on 69 km for quite some time, when the car itself wa...

Re: Soul Spy?

I have released BETA 0.1.1-4527 on google play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evranger.soulevspy This should fix the issue of the app freezing up: Not communicating with the dongle, and not responding to UI. As far as I can tell, the problem was first introduced with BETA 0...

Re: Soul Spy?

Sorry if I was unclear. The app stops doing anything and I have to force quit in Android and restart. Just now, on the way back this happened quite a few times. No problem. I will find a way to reproduce the issue reliably, and release a fix ASAP. Just for reference, what do you mean with a crash? ...

Re: Soul Spy?

I experienced this myself today! Took the car for a 400 km drive, and when I stopped, the app was completely unresponsive. Neither the soulspy.log file or the SoulData file had been updated for 80 minutes. I attached the debugger to the phone and found a deadlock error in the lock-handling. I have ...

Re: Soul Spy?

A data point from ZuinigeRijder where neither the new algorithm by Elmil, or the Torque algorithm, match the official KIA reading. - The difference may well be due to the max det not being the same at the time of the official SOH reading, according to ZuinigeRijder: "So I cannot compare exactl...
