Thanks for the info! It sounds like a lot of new/improved features, and very few (other than folding mirrors) deleted features. I have a 2015 Soul EV, and thinking of upgrading to the 2020 when it becomes available in the US. How was your buying experience? I assume you bought from dealer inventory ...
Odd that the colors are so muted. No wild colors (other than the Orange, which looks more like Red on my monitor). And the two-tone colors should be complementary -- so the top color pops -- rather very close to each other in the color wheel -- a black roof on a dark blue car doesn't wow me, and nei...
I know the Soul EV doesn't come with a spare tire, but has anyone out there purchased a compact spare tire for emergency use? If so, where did you get it?
Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but if I connect my Android phone via Bluetooth to the Soul EV, I can successfully hear audio from phone calls through the car's speakers, but I cannot hear audio at all from any phone app, such as Waze. In order to hear the instructions from Waze, I have to tu...
Yes, finally! And they advertise a range of 111 miles, up from 2017's 93 miles, an increase of around 19%. I guess they plan to continue making Soul EVs until the Niro EV eventually replaces it? Just saw at this year's CES that Kia is showing the Niro EV "concept" car, which means it's pro...
I noticed the same thing. While parked and charging at an outdoor charging station, my phone app said the car was 96% charged, and would be complete within 1/2 hour. I visited the charger 1/2 hour later, and it was still charging. It was also still charging another 1/2 hour later. The phone app both...
I bought my 2015 Soul EV in Georgia, and have since moved to Raleigh, NC. I've been getting service recall notices regarding the steering wheel. I've taken the car to the two local Kia dealers, and neither of them will touch the car - even though the steering wheel is the same as in the Soul ICE car...
B mode seems to help me quite a bit with range. For instance, I'll start with a range gauge value of, say 107, drive 10 miles on B mode, and the gauge might say 103, when it should say only 97. I think the range gauge drops faster in D.
