Fridge for garage.

Sat May 09, 2020 2:21 am

I'm looking for a second one for extra food storage and it will be on a garega, so can you help me with a good garage fridge, I found few on https://refrigeratorfaq.com. Someone told me that in the winter, a standing fridge/freezer won't operate well.

Most refrigerators are designed to work with a minimum room temperature of 16C / 60F. Some are designed for 10C / 50F.

If you put a refrigerator in a room that is too cold then it cannot cool, the refrigerant cooling cycle just doesn't work. The inside of the refrigerator will be the same temperature as the room.
