I just got a CPO 2016 with 21k miles delivered 5 days ago and have charged it three times.. On my first full charge reported 86 miles range. The 2nd charge brought it to 93 miles range. Most recent charge and reporting 98 miles range. Pretty happy with this as the car was a pretty good price.

Is what I'm seeing a side effect of my driving habits? What would the range have shown when this car was new? I've read something about a 10% buffer and curious if I'm dipping into that.

The range displayed is an estimate based on previous driving. You may be driving more economically than the previous owner, using less heating/aircon, etc. Generally, the achieved range improves with warmer weather, and the converse. Those factors, as well as the battery State of Health (SoH) would also apply to a new vehicle.
