We've had our 2016 Kia Soul EV (lux) for about 2 weeks, we bought it brand new and because it's my wife's car I only drove it for the 1st time today. A faint, but highly annoying high frequency sound emits when touching the brake pedal--I thought it was due to some regeneration issue, but it does it when the car is in park also. Just a slight depression of the pedal is enough to activate this sound. It seems to be a single frequency tone somewhere in the 12-16kHz range if I had to guess. I can measure it with a Type I sound level metre to be more precise. It's really annoying--anyone else get this?

Thanks for your feedback. No other issues so far.

Brake pump.
Normal.

It's a low noise ... not a high one.
Like "clump, clump, clump, clump".

You can heard this when :
- go in Park (selector) and release the brake pedal
- enter in the car with the sensor in the seat without touching the pedal brake
