Is this a good deal?

Just trying to get a feel for what else is out there.

Yeah I ended up getting a lease for $265.98 a month, with the first month payment rolled into that. Residual was $13,341. 36 months at 12,000 miles. I got this deal at Kia of Downtown.

Without knowing what your drive-off fees were it is hard to say how good a deal it is. From your figures, i am guessing drive off was only about $1000, which is low. in that case your monthly lease payment seems reasonable, but not a super deal.

Here in NorCal, with a drive off of about 2500, a typical lease for a mid-level Soul EV (not a +) is about $190. I suppose for your top of the line one it is more like $220.

Your residual is about $2k lower than mine, so if you end up buying the car, then it is a pretty good deal...

Drive off fees were rolled into the $265 payments as well, I didn't pay anything to drive it off the lot. It seems like the residual was lower as banks are valuing them worth less now with the 2017 models coming soon.

Congratulations on your Soul EV +
So your total cost to lease is
36 x 265.98 = 9575.28
Subtract CA rebate 2500
Total cost to lease is 7075.28

Sounds like a great deal to me. And thanks for posting! I look forward to hearing about your experiences.
