I am looking into less expensive methods of increasing the ride height to stand 2in higher due to concerns of weather conditions and bad roads. Does anyone know of ways to safely doing a 1-2 in height increase via spacer and any links to products? Everything else will remain stock and I know doing this can impact the performance/efficiency. I am willing for that sacrifice just to further help avoid possible flooding or under body damage to the battery.

Thanks for reading and I appreciate any input or further discussion on this matter. I also appreciate the many topics of information I have been reading as I have been visiting this forum for a few years ;)

If you really only need 1-2 inches higher you can get that by fully inflating the largest tires Rated for the vehicle.

I have driven a Leaf on dirt roads in the snow and it just pushes it or packs it down. EV do better than I thought in standing water and snow. They can handle deeper stuff than my VW Jetta.

I would avoid sharp rocks hitting the underside hurting the battery in the same way they can hit an oil pan and crack it. (been there in the Jetta!)

I appreciate a reply here on this topic and now having the soul ev for a few weeks I think I'm going to have to agree with you. My confidence grew quite a bit and I think I was being a bit overprotective of my baby. Having being through some deep puddles and some bad roads I have to say its been adequate at driving through whats ahead even with stock tires. I actually just added some 16 in 235/70 tires from my ford escape and wow what a jump in height. My range did go down but it gave the lift I was looking for with only minor wheel rubbing when doing a full Uturn on uneven road. I will probably switch back to my stock wheels the soul is really fine as it is but I do still want to try to add some spacers for a few inches with the stock wheels or wheels that the soul ev can fit from the factory. Ill update my progress when the time comes but its not a priority as I once thought it was.
