Just got my 2016 Soul EV+

Was wondering if anyone knows if there is an adapter that I can buy for use at Tesla charging stations. There is a free one near me and I'd like to use it!

Congrats on your new Soul!

I don't think that such an adapter exists. Tesla's supercharger network is intended only for Tesla drivers, otherwise it wouldn't be free to use.

There is no adapter for Tesla Superchargers. Tesla's network is proprietary and paid for by Tesla customers with the purchase of their car (until recently it was a $2,000 option when buying a Model S).

Even if you could get the connectors pin-for-pin compatible by building an adapter, the Model S shares its VIN with the Supercharger to initiate charging. The chargers themselves maintain a database of eligible VINs (those who paid for the option) and cross-references it. There is no other way of initiating a charge at a Supercharger location.
