Thin film photovoltaic (PV - solar panels) on the ROOF?!

Has anyone seen or heard of installing thin film PV on the Soul EV roof to charge the battery?!

This is a link to a company that offers a thin film PV "sheet" for the roof of a golf cart!

45W is pretty meaningless. Need something in the kilowatt range to be meaningful.

Possibly useful for supplementing some sort of continuous draw on the 12V housekeeping battery and/or to run some ventilation fans ... not for the main battery.
