Can someone have idea to build this 3 (realtime) gauges ?
I don't understand correctly the high stabilised gauge of the Soul EV when i drive fast.

Time that i can travel : like , i can travel 30 min with this consumption (based on 27kWh, can i use the SOC BMS instead of fixed 27 kWh ?).

example : Soul EV don't provide a realtime gauge that it indicate : at 50kW, you can drive 45min, at 24kW, you can drive 1h20min.

Kilometers before 10% at SOC BMS more accurate at high pedal usage like in montain or unlimited highway.

example : You can drive 89km at this 65kW, you can drive 110km at 24kW

Time to wait at Chademo charge based on 84-94% frontier ... ? Because in my country, the Chademo don't display the time before the charge is finish (well, the soul EV don't display this ... too)

example : wait 13min from 70 to 84%, wait 18min from 84 to 94% based on SOC BMS and Power Battery.

I think about this during this week, too.

CSV v2 with km/kWh from jejusoul : http://up.sur-la-toile.com/i1hWo (mirror = http://www.4shared.com/zip/dk35GxApce/Kia_Soul_EV_2014-2016_Torque_C.html )

DASH for torque pro (need to adapt screen to gauges, move it to see others behind) : http://up.sur-la-toile.com/i1hWO (mirror = http://www.4shared.com/zip/RQJssIO7ba/all_v18dash.html )

please, enable 15 dashs in the setting before import layout (dash file).
this dash have MIN/MAX set to ecodrive profil in this specific dash (specialy for kWh/100km and km/kWh).

This is all dashs availables (from left to right) in the DASH file provided, use this pictures to place the gauges correctly after the import layout command in torque pro.

Dash "all v21" for Torque Pro : http://up.sur-la-toile.com/i1hX1 (mirror = http://www.4shared.com/zip/aI8DhBUice/all_v21dash.html )

- Add a panel for simple diagnostic of switchs and drive selector.
- Change MIN/MAX on eco-drive panel to focus on ... economy spirit.

Planned air conditionning (summer) and graphic about climate 1 & 2 ... they evolve in concert.
2 variable pumps ?

EWP indicate nothing according to this variation ... :?

SoulEV2016 these displays for Torque are great, thanks.
In the graph above - climate 1 and climate 2 are showing their PID values.
I think they are temps multiplied by 2.

Thanks a lot SoulEV2016!
Good you have a lot of pics in here

so it was easy to understand france and how to set up and import

Maximal efficiency at 63km/h (regulator, flat road, no car behind).
9,5km/kWh provide 256km with an 27kWh pack.

Maximal efficiency at 89km/h (régulator, flat highway, no car behind).
6,2km/kWh provide 167km with an 27kWh pack.

The value it is given is not accurate.
It shows you arround 30% less then it is.

I checked it wit the onboard numbers.
If the drive system shows you 13kW and you drive 80km/h you use arround 16.25kWh per 100km but the Torque shows you maybe 10 or 12kWh per 100km.

Please checkt it again.

Update of the dash file from Torque Pro (only work with CSV v2 now).
DASH all v27 = http://up.sur-la-toile.com/i1i13 (mirror = http://www.4shared.com/zip/xFpuheUwba/all_v27dash.html )

CSV v2 (CUSTOM PIDs/extendedpids) = http://up.sur-la-toile.com/i1hWo (mirror = http://www.4shared.com/zip/dk35GxApce/Kia_Soul_EV_2014-2016_Torque_C.html )
this link of CSV v2 are already present since Thu Jul 28, 2016 3:58 pm (no change).

- add of a section for fast charge to monitor time and SOC evolution with Fan Battery and all temp of the Battery only.

BTQl38.png

vWrALd.png

- change MIN/MAX of eco-gauge and MIN/MAX of climate 1/2 ... i have hear correctly the maximum speed of this pumps (2 ?) when i stop the car and plug the slow charger.
- change of the gauge for tire pressure (more big number to read the phone on the central console of the Soul EV on the top of the selector speed)

SoulEV2016: your Torque dashboards are really great. I recommend your files as the easiest way for new users to install the software and create the displays. At the moment the tutorial for your installation is in French, but has plenty of clear photos. - http://www.automobile-propre.com/forums/kia-soul-ev/torque-pro-android-et-le-kia-soul-ev-t5386-40.html
I will update the first post in this thread to include a link to your files.

--------------------------------------------------------

I commented a few months ago on this thread that Kia wrongly labels 'Instant energy economy' as 'Instant energy consumption' in the US and Korea.
It seems someone high up reads these posts. This error has now been fixed in the latest version of the Ioniq EV software.

No problem, you can use the links like you want, it's made for this. ;)
This is to thank those who have found the PIDs in the OBD2.

I have rearranged the Battery Module Temperature codes, and the values for Max and Min temps.
It will still give some inaccurate values for Max and Min but I think it is better than before.
There is a discussion of this in the Soul Spy thread.
Thanks to Elmil for suggesting this better arrangement.

Code:
000_Battery Max Temperature,Batt MaxT,2101,Signed(O),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Min Temperature,Batt MinT,2101,Signed(P),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 1 Temperature,Batt Temp1,2101,Signed(Q),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 2 Temperature,Batt Temp2,2101,Signed(R),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 3 Temperature,Batt Temp3,2101,Signed(S),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 4 Temperature,Batt Temp4,2101,Signed(T),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 5 Temperature,Batt Temp5,2101,Signed(U),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Inlet Temperature,Batt InletT,2101,Signed(W),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 6 Temperature,Batt Temp6,2105,Signed(J),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 7 Temperature,Batt Temp7,2105,Signed(K),-40,120,C,7E4
000_Battery Module 8 Temperature,Batt Temp8,2105,Signed(L),-40,120,C,7E4

Edit: thanks to the post by SoulEV2016 below I spotted my error and have corrected the data. Min was wrongly before Max in the list. Now corrected.

CSV v3 created : http://up.sur-la-toile.com/i1i5o ( mirror = http://www.4shared.com/zip/gZYYrgh3ce/Kia_Soul_EV_2014-2016_Torque_C.html )

Changelog :

Kia_Soul_EV_BMS_data.csv modified like JejuSoul & Elmil discussion.

CSV files must installed manually in the HIDDED FOLDER named .torque (point torque !) and in the folder "extendedpids".

vmCzFZ.png

And then, you must delete the lines of BMS_data (all !) in the torque pro section "Manage extra PIDs/sensors".

Finally, charge the new BMS_data from Torque Pro interface (use "add predifined set" on the top right angle).

Be carefull to change the LOG section if you have activate this feature (my case).

Modified DASH file for the CSV v3 ONLY.
http://up.sur-la-toile.com/i1i5r ( mirror = http://www.4shared.com/zip/krhb_eQIba/all_v31dash.html ).

Changelog :
- recreated : all gauges changed in CSV v3.
- corrected : AUX voltage of AUX battery (ACID) in the charger section (OBD voltage before).

SoulEV2016: thanks for posting these displays. I can immediately spot the error in my code. Max and Min were the wrong way round. It is now corrected.

The other oddity in your displays is that your values for discharged energy are far higher than the charged. This is confusing. I do not see this in any other car, other than the short-lived 27kWh difference at the start because the battery is built charged.

Nice to see that you have zero deterioration. How many km have you driven.

CSV v4 :

Changelog :

- Min/Max Batt Temp PIDs corrected in BMS_data CSV file.

DASH all v35 (only for CSV v4) :

4200 km.

Difference are, perhaps, i use the car like a sport car (ON/OFF at the pedal) and because i have mountain profil and high speed highway profil.

On my kWh-meter (at home) at the plug, i have 884 kWh and 116 kWh at Chademo charge station (43kW).
