Ah, good catch. That would be a decent start for a useful location, since there is nothing (L3) along the Toronto/Niagara corridor at the moment. The Ikea in Burlington will be helpful for that route too... but I'm not sure why those stations are so delayed as well?

Anyhow, hopefully either there will be a sign indicating when the station is supposed to come online, or maybe someone at Tim's will know.

Keep us posted, and thanks!

So here is Tim HQ just one no power .
But it's there!

Looks good!

Thanks for checking this out.

FYI the units at Ikea Vaughan have also been installed (two of them) and are also unpowered...

Not sure what the holdup is to turn the switch, but at least the units are in place.

Some photos of the Burlington Ikea L3s have popped up. So I did some digging on the stations since I haven't seen any like them in photos or vids anywhere.

Shows labels for a California company called gridscape . People complained about the having to swipe credit cards at the kiosk separate to station and not knowing which will unlock or if it takes the swipe.

Their customer support seems to be active on plug share.

Similar l3 shown here

...It is astounding how poorly executed the EVCO rollout is. The situation here is woeful compared to BC. I guess with their 4 million inhabitants for the whole province they have more resources and willpower than 6 million people in the GTA alone!
Udo Island in South Korea has a population of 1,752. I visited there today. Saw this. There's 8 new fast c hargers

Coming soon to Ontario, and everywhere else hopefully.

more info on the ikea ones

found their evse map
burlington ikea along with all the other ikeas are listed there but there was one more of interest for people heading east of GTA

As posted on the Facebook group KSI has an app now.

I was able to bring up the Tim's Oakville level 3 on it and it's showing $12.00 per hour. One other one showed the same price.

Seems reasonable as long as it's billed by the minute.

lots of into comming out lately..

i guess this is why flo network charges so much in the GTA
so Places like Peterborough can get it for free.

http://kawarthanow.com/2017/02/25/free-ev-charging-peterborough/

also the government keeps dumping cash into them.
The federal government has awarded AddEnergie a $7-million-dollar contract to build 1,000 EV charging stations across the country by 2019

One of the KSI points of the maps on Lakeshore Mississauga is actually there..

No power like the others but this wasn't on the Evco map so that's interesting.

Here in Ottawa it looks like the one on the 416 at Kemptville is alive according to Plugshare, but then nothing else until you get close to Peterborough

Instructions for the gridscape chargers at the ikeas

This is Geeta from Gridscape and we received your voicemail for Level 3 chargers. So here are the steps to follow:

1. Start the Transaction at e-payment Kiosk. You need to insert the Credit card in the card reader to start the transaction.

2. Kiosk will ask you to select the charger and then the connector.

3. Your Credit card will go through Authorization.

4. The Kiosk will show the Plugin screen with the instruction how to start the charging session on the Charger selected.

5. On Plugin screen you will have to plugin selected to connector to your car and Press the 'Green' button on charger.

6. Charger's screen will walk you through further steps.

Hope this answer's your question. Feel free to email me if you have any queries.

so the KSI Station on lakeshore Mississauga is now powered up but not linked to the payment network yet.

as per the app it says $12.00 per hour but on the charger itself it says $15.00 per hour
so not sure if you get a discount for having money banked with them? or $3 surcharge to use credit swipe/tap

news article about a level 2 in Sarnia
indicating its part of KSI and usage.

i guess this is the hold up on some of the already installed non working dcfc

waiting for local government officials to do announcements

If so, that's insane.

Also - WTF Do I understand the "news" (propaganda) piece correctly? Oxford received $350k to build 2 L2 and 1 L3 stations, times two? That's $175k PER LOCATION, for 3 chargers. Also INSANE. Talk about milking the tax base. I don't know why I'm surprised, given this Govt's track record.

Couple more dcfc popped up working today.

One in campbellville near Milton , much cheaper than the Canadian tire flo station near by

Looks like more KSI dcfc are popping up on their app

Lindsay .. one in Stoney Creek. On hwy 6 towards Cambridge

Some Tim's some at Scotia Bank

Maybe there were issues with some of the Tim's locations nice of Scotiabank to get involved.

Kinda funny that they used a KSI ABB in the photo op for the Evco announcement at ikea and Ikea goes with grid scape that most people can't figure out how to use it.
