not the same variable but, yes, we already have it for the Soul EV :

Code:
003_VMCU Accel Pedal Related,Pedal related,2101,i,0,255,,7E2
003_VMCU Accel Pedal Depth,Pedal,2101,j/2,0.0,100.0,%,7E2

Application showed here : http://www.mykiasoulev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=629#p6951

No. That is the' Accelerator Pedal Depth'. The one I am looking for on the Soul EV is the 'Brake Pedal Depth'.
It is not in the same spot. On the Ray EV 'Brake Pedal Depth' is where 'Aux Battery Voltage' is on the Soul EV.

Yes, good question ... i'm interested by the value because it's hard to demonstrate the 3 parts of the brake pedal :

- 1/3 : regenerative brake (max 43kW)
- 2/3 : mecanical + hard magnetic brake (max 76kW ... but maybe more, it's too short to have a good measure)
- 3/3 : state of emergency brake assist (ABS overpressure + feedback in the brake pedal)

-
Have found and added Accelerator Pedal Depth to the Ray EV. Note this is a double byte value with range zero to 1000.
On the Soul we have only found the single byte value for this with range zero to 100.
Code:
003_VMCU Accel Pedal Depth,Accel Pedal,2101,((0<8)+p)/10,0.0,100.0,%,7E2

Also I intend to rename the charge timer button.
Officially it is called either 'Deactivate Reserved Charge Button' or 'Charging timer OFF button' or 'Scheduled Charging Deactivation Button'
It doesn't exist on the Ray EV so I have removed it from there.

So this
Code:
003_VMCU CH tmr Inh,CH,2100,{h:6},0,1,,7E2
will become
Code:
003_VMCU Charging Timer OFF,Ch Timer Off,2100,{h:6},0,1,,7E2

There is a new section on github for the Hyundai I oniq Hybrid. It also uses the same BMS as ours.

Data provided by Rene Scheffers - Anybody try to use Torque Pro?

The graphic below shows test data using the Kia Soul EV PID codes.

Battery Data above verified using an image from manual. 64 * 3.8V = 243.2V

Here's a graph using torque data from the I oniq Hybrid

When battery power is +ve SOC goes down, when -ve SOC goes up. This is as it should be. Seems to be working well.

A new IoniQ Electric have a problem with the DETmin & DETmax PIDs location : http://www.automobile-propre.com/forums/kia-soul-ev/torque-pro-peut-desormais-superviser-le-soul-ev-t4304-230.html#p110026

The I oniq above is behaving exactly like all the others tested.
All are showing 100% for Max and Min deterioration.

Until one actually goes below 100% we cannot be sure, but my guess is --
This measure is showing the Max SOH and Min SOH. (Of cells rather than the whole pack)
I think we will find out soon when cars in Korea start going over 50,000km.
Currently the I oniq ev using torque with highest odometer reading is at 40,000km.

Is there another link for download :
Update CSV v12.
https://www.4shared.com/zip/-15bO4scca/ ... que_C.html (mirror = https://www.sendspace.com/file/ipv8sd )

The first one I never can download anything and at the mirror one is the file not longer existing.

I also have have problem to see all the icons (I see them all one over the other) right on my Samsung S7 Edge.
It was running smooth on my Acer cell phone.

Thank you for your input

Senspace expire after 7 days, that why i ask "to ask" a new link. ;) if you can host, do it !
new LINK v12 CSV : https://www.sendspace.com/file/qu4pp6

The forum cut the long link, too ... :?
so, an other new LINK v12 CSV mirror : https://www.4shared.com/s/f-15bO4scca

Hi, where can I download the latest files to use with Torque Pro ?
I got me a new 2018 Soul EV 4 moths back passed 6000km now and I want see more OBD info.

I see there is a link in the previous post but it only send my to a crappy page with a lot of halv nude ladies  and a dowload that never work

Thanks

Here's a link to the Torque codes - OBD PIDs for the Kia Soul EV
No one has tested them with the 2018 version yet.
There are some changes that will be needed.

If you are willing to help, trying out the SoulEVSpy app would also be useful.
Download from here - https://www.spjeldager.dk/elbil/app-debug-v3.apk
Regarding the Soul with > 96 battery cells, there is currently only code for extracting the voltages for the first 96 cells, but I can add support for the rest, if someone can provide the soulspy.log2017XXXXXX.txt file "7EC" responses for the "2104" and "21 05" commands for the new model.
Read more here - Re: Soul Spy?

Thanks... also got some info from the Norwegian "Elbilforum.no" EV cars about the same and there is a 30kw version collection of the files already here: https://github.com/Lorride/OBD-PIDs-for-HKMC-EVs/tree/patch-1/Soul%20EV/extendedpids
As you can see from this link we have already tested many of the files
https://elbilforum.no/forum/index.php/topic,36583.0.html

I will download the evspy and see if I can find out how it works

That's great.
I looked at the Norwegian forum you linked. It seems a few users there are trying out Torque on the 2018 Soul EV.
The github files by Lorride are a fork of the original with a few additions / alterations to the extra gauges file.
I will add a new Torque file for the 2018 Soul EV with those additions by Lorride.

But. The data for the extra 4 cells is still missing. It would be really great now that you have SoulEVspy if you could post the logs as mentioned above.

SoulEVSpy is still in progress. It has been for 2 years already.
We need an Android UI developer to help finish it.

The same is true for the Torque plugin that I have been working on.

SoulEVSpy does not seems to work, It connect to my OBD plug* but there is no data in any "window" and if I press the Advisor, app shut down

* Konnwei KW902

(Torque Pro works fine with the same OBD Plug)

Any tips reg. the SoulEVSpy ?

No, no ability to upload files to the forum. You will need to upload to somewhere else and then put the link when posting to this forum.

SoulEVSpy does not seems to work...
SoulEVSpy is alpha software. I am not able to debug why it might fail.

But I too have a Konnwei KW902 adapter. You can test it works with ELM327 Identifier. A free and useful app.

The point of checking this, is to show that you are able to connect to the OBD adapter with a second app ( after having first used Torque). Sometimes it is the the bluetooth software on the phone that is buggy. I have often needed to reset bluetooth pairing or even reboot the phone in order to establish a second connection.

The test completed ok with the same result as your picture show and... I think I got some logging from the spyapp, it stopped a few times but I have 3 log files here now.. where do I send them ?
(I'm not sure they are complete)
