Re: No Heat!

Well, I have to admit that I failed to get to the temp control actuator today. I removed the lower panel with little trouble, but the instructions tell you to remove the driver's side shower duct after loosening the screw at the bottom. That did not work, at all. I removed the screw, but no matter h...

Re: No Heat!

Thanks for the reply. I did some research and came to the same conclusion and I think this is the correct part, but I need to confirm it before I order it: https://www.kia.parts/oem-parts/kia-door-actuator-97159e4000 I plan to dig into it later today and find it. I did find that Kia still allows us ...

No Heat!

I suddenly realized last night that my heat pump is not putting out any heat. I know the A/C was working less than a month ago, so I doubt that it's low on refrigerant. The dealer says they can't get me in until December! I did the climate control self diagnostics, and all it did was constantly flas...

Re: Dash rattle

I did. On mine it was the black trim around the gauges. Simply pried it off and crammed something behind it; can't exactly remember now, but probably some small adhesive tape or rubber. I also found that my garage door opener tends to rattle on the sun visor.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the Leaf. My first EV was a 2013, and it was great except the range!

Re: How to estimate SoH for Buying Used

Don't know anyone with an android phone or tablet? How about an Amazon Fire tablet? (Mostly the same thing, I think it could work) That is your best bet at knowing exactly where you are, but I think your math seems logical and I think you would get a new battery from what I know on mine. I get at le...

Re: Selling 2012 Leaf for used 2017 Kia Soul EV

I made a similar move about 6 months ago, but from a 2013 Leaf to a 2016 Soul EV with 8600 miles. I find that my range is right around 100 miles, give or take depending on weather. It's starting to cool down here in the PNW, so my range is showing about a 10% drop into the high 90's lately. I think ...

Re: Thinking of getting a higher mileage 2016

When you get the dongle hooked up and open the app, look for Car Information. Within a few seconds it should report the SOH in %.

Re: Soul Spy?

I have a bad dongle that does the same and gives the same error in Soul Spy. It's a small blue translucent dongle, and on the forum you can find other people where it doesn't work. I think you probably need another one. Can you try the ELM327 identifier app? The one I have doesn't even have all the...

Re: Soul Spy?

I tried out the new updated program yesterday, and sure enough my SOH went from 107% to 100%. Does it still go up to 110% with a new battery?
