Re: Are rear passengers’ window and seat heater controls supposed to be backlit?

Did you ever find out about the "non illuminated" rear seat controls? I was wondering the same. I have checked on Facebook and had only one response and that was they too had no lights on the switches. It is hard to imagine that they would not be capable of being illuminated since they hav...

Re: Check electric vehicle system warning

Felt I should tell the end of my story - i hope! I got my car back just before Christmas - apart from the few days in Sept it was at the dealership for 2 days less than 6 months. The length of time was entirely due to supply chain deliveries. KIA provided a rental for most of that time and paid for ...

Re: Check electric vehicle system warning

Thanks IanL, I appreciate your comments. I got caught in the supply chain mess and don't want to end up with waiting for yet another part so I will drive around a lot more based on your comment and see if that scenario happens to me. I have yet to turn it off and get it back when I simply turn on ag...

Re: Check electric vehicle system warning

Thanks once again - very interesting comments. I just drove nearly 40km and no warning light so I won;t be taking it to the dealer who wants me to drive in with a "live" error showing. Today it not that warm so the AC did not come on but I will do another test drive tomorrow and I suspect ...

Re: Check electric vehicle system warning

Thanks jray3 for the comment. Will note as much as I can when it happens again. I have already had the following replaced (and was without the car for several weeks - rental ICE car and gas provided by KIA): - Traction control motor - OBC - EPCU The AC seems to be always unavailable when it happens ...

Check electric vehicle system warning

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has had the "Check electric vehicle system" in an orange triangle warning and if so what was the solution? I have seen it in in EV6 forums, older Souls, and some eNiros but not with the Soul (mine is a 2020 Limited) I got this error in June and have had several...

Cabin air filter - 2020 Limited EV

Any suggestions re. OEM or FRAM or other?

OEM is 97133-D3200, FRAM looks like CF12160.

Changing it looks very easy but I would be interested in how people feel about changing it to a different make.

Great - that research suits me! :-)

The "good season " is just around the corner here. I think in April the GOM gets really close to telling th truth for me.

Re: My Soul EV's Full Charge Is About 10 Miles Less In Colder Weather(below 50 degrees)

Interesting question. I have kept lots of stats on temperature and range etc for almost 3 years now and one thing I didn't record was when I use Winter Mode. However looking at the temperature curve I suspect I turn it on about mid-November to mid-April and at those times the average temperature for...

Adding LED strip between lights?

Has anyone found any way LEDs could "join" the headlights along the front of the hood? Third party?

Although I guess if it is wired into the DLRLs it might invalidate the warranty possibly.
