Is the warranty worse in America than it is in Canada? Lots of these get their battery replaced under warranty and I don't have any doubt that the Soul here will need one too. If it's out of coverage, wouldn't touch it. If it still is, you better get a dongle - cheaper than losing out on a HV batter...

The early model years seem to have an issue with the OBC which eventually requires replacement. Sorry it's out of warranty, get ready for a sticker shock when you take it into the dealer.. Had to do mine this winter. $4000 when everything was all said and done.

Battery is shot if it's showing that for range. Unless you're able to get it replaced under warranty, pass.

You've gotten approved for the replacement, they're just struggling to source it for whatever reason. From past memory it seems like they have batches where lots of people were waiting then suddenly they all get resolved around the same time.
