I too got a "Prelim Recall" letter on 5-June for my 2015 EV.

Thanks for the useful reply. I'll be on the lookout for a OBC failure. I do have a service appt. soon for a key-fob-aware problem with Kia-Cerritos (Calif) who should be savvy on these EVs.

I want "Immediate Charging to 80 %" but don't know how to set it. The only "Immediate Charging" setting for my 2015 EV results in 100% charge.

Thanks for your input. This happens with car in my garage and also at other locations around the city. Also happens with both key fobs, both with new batteries. My guess is that the problem is in the car, with the installed sensing system losing sensing range.

My '15 Soul-EV started displaying "Key Fob Low Battery" when turning the Power ON. Both of my fobs have new batteries and both cause the same warning message, but not every time. When I hold the key fob very close, or with fob touching the button, the Power turns on and the warning message...

I can't seem to find current version numbers.

I did get a Recall (NHTSA Recall no. 20V389) for 2015-16 Soul EVs; from KIA-America, dated 7 Aug 2020. "KIA will update the ECU software for the EPB Logic". "This then will automatically activate the EPB when the Power button is turned off AND the shift lever is in the P position"...
