Re: Hitch Installation

Not yet. I have a replacement hitch coming in because the first one was bent. It should be here this week so I hope to get to installing it this weekend (Saturday night).

Re: Hitch Installation

So I started this hitch install last night. There is a plastic cover on the bottom that must be removed. It contains ~10 plastic clips and ~6 10mm screw on bolts. The plastic clips are fairly easy to remove once you get the hang of it. You use a screwdriver to wedge between the head of the plastic c...

Hitch Installation

I recently purchased a hitch (Curt Class 1 Trailer Hitch 11419) and I believe that this should work for my 2018 Kia Soul EV. I do not plan to tow anything. I am simply looking for a hitch for my bike rack. I also have an interesting contraption that I use (connects to a ball on a hitch) to pull up m...

No sales tax in WA state for EV. Total cost is slightly less than $9k for 3 years. I chose to put nothin...

Is there anything to help preserve the battery when the weather is cold? i.e., heating batteries, li...

Re: Lease vs buy?

Thanks for the info. The guy at the dealership isn't sending me any details (he keeps pushing for me to come in so we can talk details). He claims they are leasing like hotcakes and the supply isn't able to keep up with demand...? Sounds like even if I eventually might want to buy it's better to go ...

Lease vs buy?

I have previously leased many of my cars. But I have found that with the limited range of an ev and my relatively short commute (8 miles each way) and the fact that I ride a bike for most of the summer months, I don't come close to driving the allocated miles in a lease. For road trips and such, we ...
