Does anyone have experience with getting a replacement battery from Kia? I just got my 2015 Soul EV back and the range showing is 150 miles. The dealer told me it’s not unusual for a new battery to start there, but it levels out as you use the car. Just wondering what kind of leveling others...

I won't have the car back for another week or so. Because I live in Florida, where there are zero authorized Kia EV mechanics, my EV is in North Carolina. It still has to be tested and then shipped back to me.

Kia just replaced my battery under warranty with a 28.8 kWh battery. Not sure if that is the 111 or 90 mile battery. 28.8 x 4 miles per kWh is 112 mile range.

Same story, but I started with Kia USA and they arranged service visit. First time, software upgrade to 95mile range, which quickly shot down to 35 mile range within four weeks. It’s back at the service dealer where they are awaiting approval from Kia to replace the battery. It’s a process...

I'm now getting 64 mile range from a full charge. Does this SOH make sense?

My GOM reads 60 at 100% at 4.3 mpkwh. Is it really possible that my SOH is 82%. I read other posts that people with similar numbers are at 67% SOH.

can anyone give me the contact info for the folks in kia consumer services that helped and made people offers for waiting? I'm not at 70% yet, but I'd like to try to negotiate a discounted battery purchase to take them off the hook.

got it working. SOH is 82%. but at 100% charged it says chg-exact-pct is 64.

thanks. how do I determine my true miles to go? can I rely on the descending white ticks on the battery dial? for example, my battery is 13% down, so 27 x .87 = 23.5 now x 4mpkh = 93 potential miles. I havent counted the tick marks, but assume there are 15 for easy math. Each tick is worth...

I know my GOM has been off, but I never really measured it until this morning, driving to work. Every day I travel 28 miles to/from work, and every day my GOM registers between 2-22 miles of battery used, which means the GOM is off by 12%. My battery stats shows that the battery has 13%...
