I found a mouse nest in the back of the car underneath the concealed storage area (as far down as you can get back there). Did not find a dead mouse anywhere in the car. Even pulled up the back seat cushions. Hmmm.... it's much better these days :)
mbrown827 .... are you saying that you were able to get your Soul EV serviced in Scottsdale? I had to have my 2015 Soul EV shipping to Irvine, CA to get service last fall where the battery pack was eventually replaced after two and a half months.

My 2015 Soul EV has recently developed a rotten smell (like bad produce or dead animal??? ... not sure). Could this be the result of a clogged air conditioning drain? I am unable to find anything (i.e. produce or signs of a dead animal) anywhere inside or outside of the passenger or engine...
I have used my Level 1 charger cable in the past (gets me about 4 miles added per hour). I am currently using a Level 2 charger cable but that is necessitated by my daily commute of 75 miles. At my new location I will only have a commute of about 20-25 miles total so I can get by with the Level...
Has anyone charged their EV (with Level 1 trickle charger) with a heavy duty extension cord before? We are moving and we'll be renting a house temporarily while searching for a home to buy however this rental home does not have an outside receptacle that will allow my Level 1 trickle charger to...
When you say "make sure the hand brake is off" do you mean the "B" gear selection? Parking brake?
I presume the car would need to be put in Neutral for towing with the front wheels off the ground. Is that correct?
Read in my owner's manual last night the Kia recommends that you tow with all four wheels off the ground (i.e. flatbed tow truck) however if not possible to tow with front wheels off the ground. Wonder why both Chevy (VOLT) and Kia (SOUL EV) both want all four wheels off the ground preferably...
I have a question regarding towing my 2015 Kia Soul EV behind a U-Haul truck. We'll be moving about 250 miles away soon and I will need to tow the car behind the rental moving truck. Is it as simple as just keep the two front tires off the ground?
Thanks,
Curt
All seems good. Charging to 100% and it appears to have 30 kWh capacity from what I'm seeing on my charging reports and my calculations. Back and forth to work (74 miles round trip) and over 30 miles to spare. :)
p.s. At least until the heat of the Phoenix summer comes again.
Wow. I didn't realize there was an adapter that we could use with the Tesla chargers. That product on ebay does have this disclaimer ...
"This adapter is NOT COMPATIBLE and is not to be used with the Tesla Super Charger Network."
I was under the assumption that ALL Tesla chargers were 'Super...
To avoid another week waiting for my vehicle I contracted to have my vehicle shipped back on my own. I received my vehicle back on Saturday, 12/16/2017. Still testing it out. I received the car with the GOM reading "114 miles" I drove it 50 miles and then recharged it in about 2 hours. The GOM...
