That’s a much more analogue solution than I was anticipating. But I’ll give it a try, If I can figure out how to reach the locking mechanism.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has experienced this/knows a fix: often, but not always, when charging on my 2020 e soul is finished the lock on the plug at the car end does not release. I end up having to pop the hood and pull the manual release cable. This is obviously more an inconvenience...
