I have a 220V Tesla home charger, but I have purchased a few adapters from Amazon but none of them work except the Tesla Tap Mini 60A i borrowed from a friend, but Tesla tap is out of my budget. Here's the amazon adapter I've tried but DO NOT work...

I have a few questions: 1. Did you remove the PCB to re-solder the new RIFA cap onto the board? 2. what's the white material that binds them together and onto the PCB? caulking?
