My experience is that the app shows previous status (latest pull of info from the car) until it is able to connect. You have to make sure it updates every time.

Same issue on my car, did not notice this before. Car is 6 months old and around 5K miles. Also happened on a rainy day (does NOT happen that often in Austin TX). Did not notice any other impact.

Hello, Glad to see your issue is solved. For others that may have an AC issue- I had a similar issue with AC- it was a connection issue in the fuse box that prevented the main engine fan from working. Check my posts on this.

So the fan in question is the big fan (about 1' diameter) that is just behind the radiator ? (grille - radiator - FAN - main engine section) ? This fan is completely idle for me. I do not see it operating at all even when car is parked and AC is on (and the issue is happening)

Is this upgrade done by the driver or does it need to be done by the dealership?

That's correct. Car was on when I left it. (green car/arrow).
