    Driving Seattle to Portland?

Anyone done it? Did you make it in one L3 charge or two? Where did you have to stop?

New to EV World - question charge cost at Greenlots CHAdeMo Seattle area?

I think the greenlots l3 chargers are $5. Also with your light driving habits l1 charging (normal 110v outlet) is practical.

January Software Update a Good Thing?

I like that action actually. Guess that's best to be a setting.

    Soul (EV) moments

I had one of those calls about gas cards from my company the other day - they couldn't get my cars didn't take gas! You'd think they'd know after years of Teslas and Leafs on the road...

January Software Update a Good Thing?

No kidding, super impressed with the car other than a few UVO3 bugs in my factory version! My original software had an occasional bug where the camera would stay on once you went to drive too! Haven't had that either since the Android Auto first update.

January Software Update a Good Thing?

I've found it better - Android auto connects more reliably, backup camera comes up faster. Haven't noticed any bugs.

Review | 2017 Kia Soul Turbo | Character Flaws

What a weird review. "Low rent interior" and average interior space seems very contradictory to major reviews. "The 2017 Soul has an impressive interior, with surfaces that are soft to the touch and a sturdy build quality. Materials are also upscale for this class. The Soul's cabin is spacious...

Test drive of 2017 Soul EV+

GE duraststion is just $399 with an 18 foot cable, 7.2 kW output, and a 3 year warranty. However my selection was also somewhat limited by the power utility rebate approved list. I got quoted $400-600 for install.

Test drive of 2017 Soul EV+

BTW I wouldn't expect power seats in the Niro EV either, Chevy Bolt doesn't have then even with the huge battery. My last car had power seats and dual climate, turns out I didn't miss them as much as I expected.

Test drive of 2017 Soul EV+

Manually adjusted seats are common on EVs to save weight. There are certainly oddities for efficiency like no dual zone climate control, no sunroof on volt and leaf, etc.

What car will you be pursuing, or have your eye on next?

Its funny, we were recently talking about this... The idea of a Model 3 or Bolt is interesting, but for example the Bolt lease is about double the cost of the Soul EV, while the range is nice...the Soul EV range is good enough that we don't even L3 charge monthly. Given the price difference I...

ChadeMo at risk in the US?

Most I've seen do both. Interestingly the ioniq is sae combo. But unless the Leaf changes I think chadamo is safe for the coming years.
