No high pitch whine in my Soul even though I am very sensitive to high pitch sounds. As mentioned there is a pedestrian alert noise maker up to 18.5 mph (30 kph) that from the cockpit has a sort of chime sound. Goes away after 18.5 mph. I am amazed by the solid quietness of this vehicle.

But, the data on them says NO to electric cars. How are you using them on the Soul? Can I, the novice, expect any difficulty setting it up on the Soul after they specifically say not for electric vehicles?
