I didn't realize Android Auto needed USB connection to work. I have a wireless quick charger that I love too much. Hopefully bluetooth or wifi connectivity will come into play at some point.

Talked to him today. Super helpful with a couple concerns I had. Doesn't look like Android Auto will be out any time soon. They aren't sure if they're only going to release it for new model vehicles or not.

I flipped the headrest around. If know it's not as safe, but it's much more comfortable and my posture is better now.

Looks like some folks with regular Souls have the same complaint. It stems from newer active Headrests requiring a certain angle to prevent whiplash. Some have gone so far as to reverse their headrest and straighten the two metal bars.

Ok thanks, I just got the car 3 weeks ago so I'm pretty confident I can get the dealership to upgrade me. Does this contain any vehicle updates or is it strictly maps?

Went to the dealership today and another new Soul EV had the same sound. I'm slowly going crazy from the incessant high pitch. Lol.

On my 2016 plus, the regen definitely increases with the amount of brake pressed. In fact, I can get -47 kw of regen in D with the brake pedal from 50mph. This is the same as no brake while in B.

I bought Lloyd's Northbridge custom mats. They're the only show in town for the Kia EV. They're decent, but don't have flanges around the edges. They stink for quite awhile, so make sure you air them out for several days.

You can use a spare, just have to take up your normal trunk space. How much is the peace of mind worth to you?

I have full battery bars until I hit 87%. Is this normal? Are the bars more representational of how much capacity you have left or the percentage?

I carry a battery/jumper/air-pump combo in the trunk. If the Kia is like my Focus, the High Voltage battery won't engage with a dead 12V. So you actually can jump start your electric car. So strange. Lol
