    Kia "CHARGE UP" Card

I got mine as well. I already had all the cards for the different charging stations so it was somewhat superfluous for me, although EvGo offered 2 months discounted charging through the card so it's not a total waste.

Kia Soul EV commercial with dog

I suppose in South Korea it's common to have a robotic dog and park your car in the living room?

    Buying Soul EV in SoCal

From an inventory standpoint, Kia of Irvine seems to have about 60 EVs in stock right now, so I bet you could get a great deal there. At least one poster here got a great lease deal there, probably the best one listed on the forum. The monthly sales numbers have been low and gas prices are in...

    Email Survey

I'm guessing some of you guys got the email survey from Kia in the last few days? Comes with a $25 free Amazon gift card for everyone who replies with a raffle for a $100 Amazon gift card. Took about 20 minutes to complete, lot of good questions in there and chance to share opinions. They...

CHAdeMO Price list by location - please add yours

Plugshare has a good website and free app, highly recommended. Charging rates are not consistently shown for stations, but that data is available for some. eVgo I believe has standard pricing on all their stations, you can pick a plan when you get the card from them. I think Blink is...

    110 sold in December

359 sold total, we are an exclusive club. http://insideevs.com/monthly-plug-in-sales-scorecard/ I saw my first Soul EV besides mine in El Segundo today, a white one driving on El Segundo Blvd.

Soul EV not charging on scheduled reservation

From a design standpoint I'm not entirely sure why there needs to be an override button, why can't the timing setup be entirely controlled via the screen?

Soul EV not charging on scheduled reservation

There's a reservation charging button to the left of the steering wheel that I thought factored into the decision as well, is it depressed on your car?

    little issues?

I agree with the sluggishness of the UVO system in general. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the navigation map to appear on screen, I've never seen that in any car with GPS going back 10 years. And definitely see the issue with changing radio inputs, sometimes I'll hit a button a few...

    little issues?

Regarding the welcome sound, Kia considers it part of their "sonic branding", whatever the heck that is: http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2014/07/10/kia-sonic-branding-soul-sedona-jingle/12445381/

    SiriusXM Radio -- Free Traffic

For the sake of completeness, it looks like the EV data is actually separate and is part of something called SiriusXM Travel Link, but the car comes with a 5 year free trial of Travel Link as well, so it's the same thing essentially.

    SiriusXM Radio -- Free Traffic

I called SiriusXM to cancel my subscription on my old Volt. They indicated that the traffic service is free for 5 years on the Soul EV. That's a pretty good deal, and I'm guessing it includes the "EV services" that come with SiriusXM. The radio is free for 3 months as most of us probably...

SoCal Dealers and Selling over MSRP

Yeah I think Grayhawk just set the standard for best offer. Anyone looking to lease should quote that offer...or just go to Irvine. :)

SoCal Dealers and Selling over MSRP

I picked up my black/red EV + from Sherman Oaks Kia today. In and out in 2 hours, which was nice. My lease deal was similar to what is quoted here. I put a little more down but my monthly payments were $279+tax. I essentially got the "national lease deal" that was quoted when the car first...

SoCal Dealers and Selling over MSRP

Rich, Can I ask what you got for your monthly payment and if you got a base or a plus model? Sherman Oaks quoted me $319/month and $2995 (all in) down for a plus, an offer I'm trying to bring down. Brad
