Sudden range reduction caused by new tires?

I am with Omar on this one. Now that I have spent some time with the new tires, I have noticed very little change in my efficiency overall. 4.6mi/kWh puttering around town (<40MPH, little or no AC), ~3.6mi/kWh doing 70 with some AC driving between Portland and Seattle.

Sudden range reduction caused by new tires?

What is your efficiency showing? I just had to get tires myself (two non-repairables so I did all 4) and ended up with some non-LRR tires. mostly 3.9-4mi/kWh on the way home which is pretty typical for me, though I will have to see how I do with more regular driving.

Sudden range reduction caused by new tires?

I don't have any feedback but I am wondering about the same thing, also in PNW here and wondering how critical the LRR tires are to range

    Battery Checkup at Dealership

Sounds like you got the same service advisor as me... Beaverton Kia? Lol. Dude insisted, multiple times, there was "no test in the world" that could tell you the health of your battery.

What should I know before a battery replacement?

My understanding is the same regarding the 110% thing. They did not charge me a cent after it was established that it was in fact a warranty issue, but my advisor very reluctantly said they would do it, but made sure I was 100% clear that if it weren't warranty it would cost money, and made a...

What should I know before a battery replacement?

I am a recent '15 battery recipient. I got a remanufactured pack, rated at 110% SOH, same as the original 27kWh pack. I don't expect it to degrade any worse than a new one, we don't know how many of the cells have been replaced, it could even be all of them! So far mine has not degraded at all...

    Soul Spy?

Definitely worth buying. $15 is a fair price though you might get more takers with something like $9.99. Need-to-have features are the SOH and the battery map, though perhaps if you are asking about say free/Pro edition features, maybe anything that displays raw data is "free" and anything that...

    2016 Soul EV+ Battery Replacement - Remanufactured?

After forcing a calibration (run to <20% then charge to 100%) my reman battery is showing an estimated 100% SOH in SoulSpy. min and max det both read 1.

2015 Soul EV: Out of State Battery Replacement

Yes, this was exactly my experience. Definitely get it in to them. You may have to push to get them to actually look at the SOH test, I had a hell of a time with it but eventually got it sorted. Related, my remanufactured battery is showing 100% SOH after a full calibration cycle (run to <20%...

2015 Soul EV: Out of State Battery Replacement

Not sure what "normal" is but I think .2 is quite significantly off of that, that's about how mine were looking as well before the replacement. Looks like you have at least 2 bad cells. Have you updated Soul Spy? The new version has a more accurate SOH estimator, what is it saying yours is at?

2015 Soul EV: Out of State Battery Replacement

I just received my '15 back today for a battery replacement (took 1 week start to finish). The invoice shows a remanufactured part. SoulSpy shows 96 cells, all with consistent (within .02) voltages and an estimated SOH of 110%.

    2016 Soul EV+ Battery Replacement - Remanufactured?

I just got my car back today (2015) and it is a remanufactured 96 cell, verified with Soul EV Spy. Estimated SOH is 110%.

    Soul Spy?

I should have some data soon to help with refining the SOH estimate. Have recent logs and just had Kia tell me yesterday my SOH was 40%. You had mentioned logs from before and after a Kia SOH test, yes? I Will try to get access to the car to get a post-test datasaet as well. Coincidentally my...

    2015 EV+ Android Auto Update

I just did the update manually following the process in another thread (you should be able to see my reply right below that thread). Easy as pie, though granted I'm technically inclined. Very simple though, no issues whatsoever.

    New software update installation (video)

Used the 2015 PC link to download the installer, downloaded ~9GB, formatted SD using the installer which then expanded the data to the SD. Ejected from PC (Safe Removal first!) and inserted into the car, took about 30-45 minutes and multiple (automatic) restarts of the head unit to update, but...
