Hi all,
Last weekend I purchased a certified pre-owned 2016 Soul EV. I had to call the 800 number to unlink the previous owner so I could add the vehicle to my myuvo account. I am able to use the green Apple myuvo app just fine to communicate with my car and unlock it, check charge status, turn on the AC, ... So, I now want to install Apple Car Play. I followed the instructions on https://www.myuvo.com/support/avn40ev/software-update/software-update.shtml and everthing is fine up to the point where it checks for updates.
https://www.myuvo.com/ccw/vehicles gets stuck when the screen appears saying
"CHECK FOR UPDATES
Checking for updates..."
where the diamond breaks into 4 squares separates and spins then reforms (basically a spinning wheel).
Does anyone know what to do next? I called Kia 800 number and was told to give it 24 hours, but it has already been 24 hours. I think their server is stuck or their configuration of my car or my account is less than optimal. thoughts?
