I've now had the soul for just over 3 months and 500 miles short of 3000 miles. Have had zero problems with it and would recommend. I'm happy I went with the lease too.
My deal was for $400 a month with zero down with 12K miles per year for 36 months.
Thanks I used cotton swabs and paper towels and that worked fine. Charged no problem. I thought I had damaged something but glad to know it was just water that needed to be removed!
I was rushing and disconnected my car and just started driving. Went about 4 blocks ranging in speeds from 25-45 mph before I realized and pulled over to close the orange cover and the door.
The inside of the charging port is wet. What do I do? I'm sure I can't charge it wet.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I can only imagine what will be available for the Soul EV and other EVs in 3 years. I was also thinking of going with the 15K miles to be on the safe side. Do you happen to know the difference in monthly lease payment between the 12K and 15K miles?
