It's definitely stiffer than the L1 handle the car comes with, but in comparison to the Chargepoint chargers I've used it is about the same. I think it got easier after the first week or so of me using it - how much of that was maybe rubbing off some rough bits and how much of that was me just getting used to putting it in at the exactly correct angle I don't know.
