Yes, there is no resistance to your movement if you are pressing your accelerator in B mode. I meant if the street is straight for example, then you would release the accel. pedal, in that case if you just let your car go forward by its momentum, it is more economic than higher regen braking.
I noticed that I can get higher energy efficiency if I use the "B" mode only in the last 8 km of my daily commute, instead of using it all the way.
It is fully clear that you can control your regen braking level by pressing the brake pedals to a certain level, or by the extent to which you release your accel pedal.
