Is the UVO app just slow on my phone?

While I have some complaints about the UVO app design/features, my biggest gripe is the lag in navigating, especially when checking the charge status (it really should be on the main screen). Unless I'm getting a good wifi or 4G signal, I can't even log in!

I haven't heard complaints about it on Google Play, other than it not working on rooted phones, so I was wondering if it was just my phone.

After a little searching, I found a guy complaining about the lag in the Tesla app on his android phone, so now I wondered if it was an Android issue.

Do any of you folks have problems with the speed of the UVO app on your phones?

Check the speed through the website. I think it is very slow. Since there isn't a Windows Phone version I installed the app on an iPad and it is slow and basic, in my opinion, so I just use the website, even if I'm using an iPad.

On a Nissan LEAF the app is called "CarWings" ... scroll down to near the bottom for jspearman's "explanation" ...

Enjoy :)

CarWings was replaced at least a year ago by NissanConnect. In any event, NissanConnect is not terribly different from CarWings or UVO EV for that matter. And every one of them takes way too long for a status update.

Ok ... my bad ... I should have said "was called CarWings ..." (and so you can find the jspearman quote more easily ...)

And in case no one wants to scroll through the link ... here's the humor posted directly ...

P.S.: How do you insert a JPG directly in-line ?

Maybe the carrier pigeon part is a little off now. That was why it was called CarWINGS!

I can't figure it out either. It adds tags, but doesn't insert the image.
I tried with http, https, etc, edited it a bunch of ways and they never show up.
