Charging 12 V Battery

I had my 12 v battery die. Can it be trickle charged through the cigarette lighter as with an ICE vehicle?

Are talking about using a little 3w solar panel (or similar)? The cigarette lighter is wired to a block off the 12v so I can't see why it wouldn't help.

But ideally it would be good to figure out where the initial draw came from to kill the 12v batt.
