Kia 2017 ev stuck at 50 percent

Hello, I was told by the dealer ship that there is a setting to only charge to 50 percent but i didnt ask them to show me, now its back at 50, ive looked through every option has anyone had this problem?

I'm sure it is 80%, not 50%, but it was removed from the 2018 models because of US regulations. I think it is accessed on the earlier model via the timed charging options page.

sorry for late reply, no good, there is no option, i feel that the dealership isnt being honest, however is is exactly half the charge but there is no option to restore

In that case, it seems you have a 2018 MY car, which does not have the option to limit the charge to a percentage - all it has is the option to time the start and end points. Check that you have not got that option set, and, if not, there is a defect. If the dealer is no help, take it up with KIA corporate.
