Leave charger plugged into wall?

I mounted my trickle charger to the garage wall and plugged it into the wall recepticle. Is it OK to just leave it plugged in? The owners manual doesn't reference this topic. Thanks!

Well, my Kia dealer didn't know either. Haven't burned the house down yet.

I'd say it's fine, the EVSE is just basically a fancy GFCI with a small low power circuit to generate the pulse signal. With no car connected the breaker will be open and only the pulse signal circuit will have any power.

i don't know if there is any pros and cons, but mine is plugged in all the time (for more than a year).
